"Next time?" Harry earnestly hadn't thought about getting injured again or what he'd do if he was. Even in his final confrontation with Octavius, he had pictured it as being relatively straightforward. For all his self-doubt, he hadn't actually thought about being defeated. Hearing that brought him back down to earth in a jarring sort of way, but Harry tried not to look unnerved. "I hope I won't need to, but... thanks. I'll remember that."

Oh, geez. How come Harry couldn't go anywhere without people trying to make him learn stuff? "What's the difference?" he asked before he could think better of it.

"Sure, I won't say any--" He was so busy marveling that he hadn't noticed Spider-Man zip up to the ceiling until he turned to look at him and then realized-- up. He stopped mid-sentence and did a double take. So weird. It's not like Harry'd been around a superhero before. He stared before remembering he'd been saying something. "Uh-- yeah. No, that makes sense. My lips are sealed."

"No kidding?" Who'd have thought? "Nice to know, actually." To know that their work had contributed to something nice instead of just... all the bad stuff. "How strong is it? I mean, it must be pretty tough if it can hold up against all that swinging."
